I am experienced at working closely with clients and independently, and create sites that not only contain information, but project the character of the client organisation. |

| Exploding Cinema Screening Collective Complete refurbishment of ‘media’ section, gradual updating of entire site. Formed in 1991, the collective is now the most senior underground screening organisation in London, with a worldwide reputation and influence. Its first site was created in 1998 and expanded in 2000, and not significantly updated prior to my inheriting it. Thus the site’s main problem was its apparent archaism. To avoid profitless controversy, I radically expanded the existing media section to project the unique excitement and character of contemporary shows, founding sections for booklet art and screening photos, and linking to everything relevant on the net. Page templates have been kept simple to encourage collective participation, while functioning to provide user-friendly navigation and foreground the graphic content. The top page for the photo section is now a showcase for my designs and the most visually spectacular page on the site. I am also responsible for the pimping of the Exploding Cinema myspace and youtube pages. |
